Dia de los Muertos is a traditional Mexican celebration of our ancestors and loved ones who have passed on.In honor of this tradition, we will create an ofrenda (altar) of beautiful decorations and delicious treats to welcome back our Angels for one night to celebrate their lives and the impact they made while on Earth.

After our altar ceremony, we will enjoy a restorative Reiki-infused Soundbath Meditation. Reiki is energy healing using gentle hand movements on or around the body to create healthy flow of energy in the body. Danica Arizola of A Love Thing Healing Arts is a Reiki Master and an Oncology Massage Therapist with many years of experience in the healing arts.

Guests are encouraged to bring items to place on the altar for the duration of the event or to leave behind as an offering to the ancestors we are called to honor.Suggestions for items to bring: photos of loved ones, flowers, edible treats, candles, letters or poems, or anything that reminds you of them. Feel free to bring a journal and/or crystals to heighten the energetic space.
